Introduction
Indonesia’s marine and fisheries is one of the three main sectors for Indonesia’s economic development in 2030 besides service industry and resources. The efforts done by Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of The Republic of Indonesia to improve fisheries productions are the appropriate steps. These efforts include improvements of fisheries production commodities which have been dominating exports and local markets, such as shrimps, seaweed, catfish, grouper, and other types of fish.
In accordance, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of The Republic of Indonesia is committed to encourage improvements of fisheries superior commodity industrialization, such as shrimp, grouper, catfish, and seaweed through the event of AQUATICA ASIA and INDOAQUA in collaboration with Directorate General of Aquaculture since 2018.
AQUATICA ASIA and INDOAQUA is not just merely an exhibition event for products from fisheries, but also as an event for investors in fisheries industry to meet, to accomplish business transactions and partnership, exploration of export opportunities, and to show latest updated technology advancement related to fisheries field.
